Hanoi culture tours biking and homestay: Duong lam village and Tay Phuong Pagoda

Around countryside of Hanoi have many places which are symbol for Vietnamese culture. This tour is a good chance for you to rich to the real life of Vietnamese people. Enjoin the biking day in peaceful time around some villages: Dong Truc, Duong Lam villages, Tay Phuong pagoda. Take 25km for biking adventurous about the daily life of Vietnamese.

Duong Lam is an ancient village of Viet people. In there the local people stilt keep their houses in ancient shapes which were built by red ceramics and tile pills. Let’s come and see it.

Itinerary: Hanoi biking tours to the countryside

Day 1: Hanoi – Tay Phuong – Dong Truc village – Home stay (Meals: L/D):
8:00 Be ready with your bicycle and luggage and start biking to Tay Phuong pagoda. With the distance 25km from Hanoi it takes 2 hours on your bicycle. Arrive in Tay Phuong pagoda and visit one of the oldest pagodas of Vietnam with 18 special wooden Arhat statues. After that, continue cycling to Dong Truc village. Welcome by local family and stay in their home stay. Enjoin the cooking time with host. Dinner in Vietnamese cuisine.

Day 2: Dong Truc – Duong Lam ancient village – Hanoi (B/L):
Breakfast at home stay. Say goodbye and then start biking to Duong Lam ancient village. After 1 hour on your bike you are in Duong Lam and start to walk around the village. Listen the explanation from our tour guide about the history and special architecture most of the houses here.
Leave Duong Lam to Son Tay town and have lunch. After that, cycling back to Hanoi.
15:00 Arrive in your hotel in Hanoi. Tour end.
